Starlink Home Loans is a new entrant in the burgeoning home loan market in Australia and New Zealand. The CEO, Emanuele Camiolo, had approached us in 1995 to explore the possibilities of marketing home loans via a referral marketing model. We recommended against this approach at the time because the model he envisioned could not be supported by the kinds of margins available, and we foresaw major upheavals in the home loan market as the major banks responded to the incursions of mortgage initiators into their traditional client base, which came to fruition only months after this.

The advent of the Internet, and the popularity of affiliate programs, led us to renew our contact in mid 2001, and the timing proved fortuitous. Starlink was in process of being accredited as a mortgage manager, and we were able to create a two-tiered affiliate program that would comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We created the corporate identity in its entirety, along with the marketing and promotions concepts and strategies. This included the compensation system for members of the Starlink Promotions Network, and marketing and training strategies for the franchise network of professional home loan consultants who will service the enquiries generated by members of the Promotions Network.
